J-Style Pegboard Hooks
“J” Hooks are best utilized with tools that feature holes towards the base of the handle, such as:
- Small saws
- Hammers
- Wrenches
- Box cutters
- Painting supplies (large paint brushes, putty knives, etc.)
- Rulers
- Expert Tip: “J” hook’s are a favorite for jewelry organization and display
L-Style Pegboard Hooks
“L” Hooks are great for smaller, yet awkwardly shaped tools that don’t feature pre-fabricated holes for hooks, including:

Box Style Pegboard Hooks
The box-style hooks work incredibly well with tools that feature curved handles, such as:
