FAQ – Pegboards & Hooks
PRODUCT
A: The hole size needs to be 1/4″. The old 1/8″ hole pegboard and some newer board supplied from China, etc. have undersize 6mm holes. To check your board, take a 1/4″ drill bit and slide it into the hole. If it will not fit or is tight then your board holes are undersize.
A: You can replace your board with new WallPeg board or use a 1/4″ drill bit to ream out the undersize hole you want to use. Customers who didn’t want to replace old boards say this is an easy quick-fix.
Q: How do the Flex-Lock peg hooks lock to the pegboard and are they easy to move?
A: The lower prong of the peg hook has a 3 degree offset which cam locks against the pegboard 1/4″ hole when inserted. This cam-lock force holds the peg hook securely in place. To remove peg hook pull out and up.
